Heaven's Nursery Project

The Heaven's Nursery Project is a passion project of mine that I wanted to set up after suffering 2 miscarriages. One at 7 weeks and the second at 10 weeks.

Nobody tells you just how taxing pregnancy loss and infertility is both physically and emotionally. The feelings of grief are real. The feelings of loss are real. The feelings of being defeated, drained, inadequate and absolutely heartbroken are real. It's important for me to do what I can to help raise awareness and funds when it comes to providing much needed support on such a taboo issue. No one should suffer in silence.

In honour of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Heaven’s Nursery Project is looking to raise much needed funds for Pink Elephants Support Network. A grass roots charity that is working tirelessly on providing support for families in need. And a charity that is very close to my heart.

Throughout the month of October, I will be posting first hand experiences, shared by wonderful women who have unfortunately joined the 1 in 4 club to Heaven's Nursery Project's instagram page (@heavensnurseryproject). These will be the stories of those who are happy and comfortable sharing with the public, in order to raise awareness, provide comfort and offer support to those who may be going through something similar. You are not alone. No one should suffer in silence.

Hopefully this campaign will create a really nice space where anyone could visit the page, read through similar stories that they may have experienced, and hopefully gain some form of comfort knowing they aren’t alone, whilst also providing support.
