1 in 4 women experience a miscarriage. A lot of the time, you wouldn’t know. It’s not something that is normalised to share amongst your Facebook friends or even those around you.
We always see the exciting announcements on Facebook of pregnancy and new babies being brought into the world. What we don’t see are posts of the angels that never quite made it into this world, those loved and never forgotten.

In February 2024, I will be swimming solo 20kms as part of the Rottnest Channel Swim, then three weeks later, a further 25km solo as part of Port to Pub in memory of all the babies who were called to heaven early, the mothers & fathers who have endured this loss, and those who have suffered in silence. We see you, and you are one of the very reasons I am lifting this cause up so that others can understand, feel and recognise the impact❤️

This is a cause close to my heart. I will be raising money for Pink Elephant, an agency that provides resources, information and peer support to those impacted by pregnancy loss. So let’s raise awareness, 1 in 4 is not just a statistic!
